When planning a Charleston newborn photography session, it is best to schedule a session within the first two weeks of your sweet babe being born. At this age, newborns are still pretty sleepy which makes photography during an otherwise hectic time easier for both mom and baby. Many babies also tend to experience skin changes after the first two weeks as they adjust to their new surroundings (baby acne). With this being said, newborns and babies can be photographed anytime, so don’t worry if you aren’t able to schedule a session in the recommended window.
